The Project Management Triangle (called also Triple Constraint or the Iron Triangle) is a model of the constraints of project management. It is a graphic aid where the three attributes show on the corners of the triangle to show opposition.

Burn down chart - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Burn down chart

A burn down chart is a graphical representation of work left to do versus time. The outstanding work (or backlog) is often on the vertical axis, with time along the horizontal. That is, it is a run chart of outstanding work. It is useful for predicting when all of the work will be completed.

I'm not sure how useful this would be as an actual PM tool. I can see it being dangerously overused as a reporting tool to a Project Board though.
