10 Ways Mobile Technology Will Save Your Life In The Future. | The Future of Information & Technology Communications. | Scoop.it

The medical and healthcare sectors are in the midst of rapid change, and it can be difficult to see which new technologies will have a long-lasting impact.

Mathew Taylor's insight:

This could suggest the implementation A.I that performs long intensive surgeries on humans that last for hours on end, it could also suggest the implementation of Augmented reality (ie; Google Glass), and nano-robots (ie; Genetic Enhancement).

But would this be safe?

(Refer to the incident with the laser eye surgery machine, the programmer didn't allow for certain barriers so he didn't introduce them into the program. Which severely burnt the woman because the machine was supplied with too many chemicals, and too much heat).

6 Things You Should Know About The Future - Forbes

6 Things You Should Know About The Future - Forbes | The Future of Information & Technology Communications. | Scoop.it

We mostly kept them in our cars. We listened to music on CD's and had very little personal technology. It's hard to imagine a present day millennial living in 1994.

Mathew Taylor's insight:

This article goes into some serious details about the future of technology. How the prices will rapidly decline, and the human representation of robots will become normal in every day life.

For example, the article discusses how solar power will be a necesessity because of the fact that there will be so many machines and so many humans imhabitting the earth that we won't be able to produce that much power.

"6 Things you should know about the future" explains as how cheap solar panels will be.

"Solar energy will be competitive—or cheaper—than the grid and getting your personal genome sequenced will cost less than $100."

The Future of communication

Mathew Taylor's insight:

Everything is basically becoming available on the internet. For example; "The New York Times sells it's television station and declares that the future is digital, BBC follows. "

People are connected to the internet for a small price and are constantly connected. Why would you watch something on the television, it has ads. If you watch these shows on the internet the ads will be eliminated.

Technology is allowing us to advance to a much higher level, a level that others would've thought to be impossible. Technology has come a long way in such a short time, and to think that there is still more technology being invented, and tested everyday, who knows what the future will hold.
