Informal Learning at work
The notion of inseparability of work (or everyday practice) and learning raises a number of questions about the distinction that is often made between ‘formal learning’ and ‘informal learning.’ The term ‘formal learning’ implies learning that occurs through training events and structured learning activities. Whereas indeed informal learning is often highly merged with work and is predominantly unstructured and experimental. This sites purpose is to draw together current themes and discussions on informal learning.
