Now this is the type of market we want to see in WGreen and they are right - WGReen too has some great shops if people would go and spend there. Do look at the Queens Parade units for some really innovative ideas - including our pop-up university coming in March!

They are lumped with pawnbrokers, payday lenders, and pound stores as a symbol of hard times on the high street.

What do you think? I like charity shops myself both as a source of good stuff and often unusual stuff, but also as it shows we can recycle well. When I get bored of my clothes but they are in good condition, I give them to a charity shop.  It is a way of being less obsessed with our material goods - as I help clear out a house I realise how many people define themselves by their possessions. Giving goods to charity reminds us that we are not our possessions!
