Imagine you are watching The Beastie Boys' classic video for Sabotage when suddenly you realize, much to your confusion, that Mike D (aka Alasondro Alegre) isn't holding a 70's era walkie talkie but a Sony Xperia Z3 smart phone.

Not sure I agree with changing old videos to put in new products for advertising.  I think it will look tacky and too "try hard".  However it will probably work as it will make people "look twice"

The evolution of the hashtag.  I have found that if I am looking for something in particular on facebook or Instagram I can search by hashtag and 9 times out of 10 I will get what I am looking for.  It is a very good way to link consumers to more content

Product placement in movies is an awesome way of making your product known as well optimising brand recall.  Especially with the movie Castaway, and the Wilson ball, it is extremely memorable and generates a lot of awareness for the brand.
