These are tools you can use to design quizzes based on selected video content. They allow you to import video clips, add a variety of interactive features to them (e,g different question types, comments, notes, links etc) and share them with your students. Some of these tools include the option to track student progress and access stats on how students are interacting with your video quizzes. Share with us in our Facebook page if you have other suggestions to add to the list.

En marketing, a great image is often a key component of the message. Constant need for pictures can dig deep into your pocket when using stock photography. If you want a particular image, then it makes sense to pay for the stock images as it will be a lot cheaper than to hire a photographer. What to do when you need images all the time, but their marketing lifespan can be measured only in days, maybe hours? Images for Facebook posts, email newsletters, individual slides in presentations that you use only once… Paying 10 or 20 dollars per image for these adds up. So where do you get free images? I have collected a bunch of sites that give you exactly that… free images for commercial use.

Incorporating a Growth Mindset Into Your Teaching Practice

Incorporating a Growth Mindset Into Your Teaching Practice | ICT Resources | Scoop.it
A growth mindset, as described by Carol Dweck, is a belief that while individuals are different in many ways in terms of their initial performance, interests, talents, and skills, everyone can improve, change, and grow through application and experience. We believe that one of the greatest school-based factors for improving education today is empowering educators with opportunities to develop a growth mindset by working together to build skills and strategies to increase the impact of their instruction in the classroom.

5 Ways Teachers Can Encourage Deeper Learning With Personal Devices

Author: Jennifer Pierrat.

taken from: Edsurge (technology in the school) August 7 - 2016

From my point of view, personal devices such cell phones, tablets, ipads, among others, can be a huge risk if we allow students to use them in the classroom. However, it is also true that we as teachers should try to find useful ways to incorporate these potential resources into our lessons if we want to increase learner involvement and motivation while at the same time improving time management, teacher-student interaction, meaningful learning and real-time provision of feedback. All these educational factors can be simultaneously addressed if teachers take some time to do a little research on the web to find out the countless activities that digital devices allow them to perform along with your students both in and outside the classroom.
