Social networks is the main forum we communicate with each other in the digital age so embracing these technologies and methods is crucial to stay current and also utilise technology in meaningful and in ways that transcend traditional teaching and learning. It is also crucial that people are taught how to use these social networks as they are generally used in the workplace and most learners need to be educated in how to utilise theses technologies to have that extra edge in the workplace.
