The KidsHelpine is a great website which addresses the issues that are faced in childrens lives. It provides support to students who are having problems and needs counselling, this can be done via phone, email or over the web. 

There are many educational programs provided by the kids helpline that can help educate students to deal with their problems.

As cyberbullying is becoming more of an issue, teachers can implement the cyber safety education program to teach students how to use technology in a safe and well mannered way.

It also creates wonderful  libraries that can be shared and viewed in class.

A great book that depicts a nine year olds journey during the Holocaust. Students can gain a better understanding about the Jewish people and how they were treated, their feelings and what took place during the Holocaust. Many dicussions can be brought upon using this book as it addresses many themes and concepts about the Holocaust.

This book has also been turned into a movie allowing the students to see the events happen before their eyes, once they have finished reading.

Rabbit Proof Fence is one of the best movies to learn about the stolen generations. It shows how the aboriginal were treated and the life they lived in whilst the stolen generation was happening. 

This can be used as a resource to start a discussion about stolen generations and explore the feelings and emotions of the aboriginals who has been forcibly been removed from their homes and families.

The Immigration museum also provides useful resources that can be used in class based on what the students did on their visit.  These resources helps build the students knowledge on the reasons for migration and on the different cultures and backgrounds in our community.

An inspiring book by Anh Do that is aimed for children.  Instead of reading 'The Happiest Refugee', students can read an easier and simplified version called, "The Little Refugee".

Truly an inspiring story that depicts a young boys journey as a refugee in Vietnam, his struggles and how his determination hope gave him a new life in Australia. 

A great book that can be used in class that allows students to learn about migration.

Google Earth is a great resource to use in class as this tool allows students to explore the world by viewing satellite images of sites and buildings  in 3D and up close. They can learn and explore the different historical sites around the world and investigate the surroundings. Google Earth has a lot to offer and is a wonderful resource that enables students to learn about the worlds geography, the history and the affects of natural disasters that took place in various parts of the world.

This animation potrays the adevntures of three indigenous boys who go out to play and scare each other with their spooky tales passed down from their ancestors. It explores the Adnyamathanha language, culture and traditions. As it is aimed at primary school children, it is a rich resource that aligns to the Australian Curriculum.

As the students live in the same country, they are brought up in a different community, thus the students can compare and relate to the lives of the indigenous.

This would be a great book for students to read because it has a lot to offer in the Asian literature and the history of migrants. It also covers many themes that can be covered in school such as love, tragedy, racism, courage, hope and many others.

The children reacts and presents their opinions about the racism issue and how it can impact the lives of many individuals whho can relate to the cheerio commericial.  It is hard for children to lie, everything the children said, are so true and so right. There is clearly nothing wrong with the clip but the issue that people are arising about different race couples has frustrated many. 

It hurts to see that there are so many racist people out there. Why comment or say something when you have nothing nice to say at all?

We should support each and every couple around the world despite their age, gender, race, sexuality....
