5 Beloved Websites That Are Ruining the Music Industry | Cracked ... | How the Internet impacts the Music Industry | Scoop.it
The advent of music streaming is essentially a plague on the industry, a cutpurse on the level of Napster.
Nesss ♔'s insight:

This article talks about how major websites are contributing to ruining the music industry by basically screwing artists. They make it hard for new and indie artist to make a name. Also, it talks about how if anything gets too popular, it gets looped in with every other popular artist or song out and is eventually marketed way too much and "ruined".

MARK DEVLIN FULL-LENGTH TALK ON THE ILLUMINATI MUSIC INDUSTRY, CHANGING TIMES, 2013

Here's my newly-extended presentation on 'the mind control manipulations and satanic agenda of the mainstream music industry.' Yes, you read that correctly! ...
Nesss ♔'s insight:

I scooped this because whether you believe in the illuminati or not, a point that is made is this video is important. Music industry is killing music

Music industry is killing music | How the Internet impacts the Music Industry | Scoop.it
Taylor Swift , the seven-time Grammy winner, is known for her articulate lyrics, so there was nothing surprising about her writing a long colum n for The Wall Street Journal about the future of the music industry. Yet there's reason to doubt the optimism of what she had to say.
Nesss ♔'s insight:

I scooped this article because I think it has a lot of valid points contributing to my topic. Album sales are down, and the quality of music and how its distributed, and gets "big" is all a growing issue in my eyes. If I had a choice, I'd go back to the days where people were excited to buy, hold, and showcase a cd. The days when you couldn't illegally download music and screw people over. When the music mattered and was more of an art rather than just entertainment.
