Airbnb : deux millions d'euros d’amende à Paris

Airbnb : deux millions d'euros d’amende à Paris | Hotel and accommodation trends | Scoop.it

Hotels Finally Embrace Homesharing: Now What? –

What traditional hotel companies once dismissed or derided, some are now welcoming with open arms. But not all hotels are finding it easy to embrace homesharing, or incorporate it into their business plans.

One of the earliest adopters, AccorHotels, has struggled to turn a profit from its $169 million acquisition of luxury home rental platform Onefinestay. Two years after buying it in 2016, AccorHotels most recently wrote off its investments in the business, but remains determined to keep it as a part of its portfolio.

Schöne Bescherung - Blog von Markus Luthe zum Datenschutz

Schöne Bescherung - Blog von Markus Luthe zum Datenschutz | Hotel and accommodation trends | Scoop.it

2019 Plea to Hotel PMS providers for Distribution Cost Tracking Functionality

2019 Plea to Hotel PMS providers for Distribution Cost Tracking Functionality | Hotel and accommodation trends | Scoop.it
Over the last few years there has been much discussion in the the world of hotel revenue management on managing GOPPAR and NREVPAR over only REVPAR. Understanding the cost of distribution is vital to the financial success of every hotel. For this we would need our systems to support us in registering and calculating such costs. Unfortunately many hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) have not yet evolved sufficiently in this area.

In a discussion on my last post on the Hotel P&L the topic came up. I have made this plea various times already to PMS providers. So I am using the start of 2019 to make a public plea to request all hotel systems to develop a comprehensive cost of sales functionality.

Day use: Augmentez votre chiffre d’affaires grâce à vos chambres vides la journée

Day use: Augmentez votre chiffre d’affaires grâce à vos chambres vides la journée | Hotel and accommodation trends | Scoop.it
