This passage covered most of what you covered during the class where we were going over the Spartan culture and basic way of life. It mainly looks at the Spartan males way of life and what they have to go through. They are put in military training when they are seven and literally don't stop until they die in battle or are over 60. This info may help in my study of the city-states of ancient Greece
