Newspaper In Education to be launched in Nagpur - The Times of India

Newspaper in Education (NIE), an initiative of The Times of India and a revolutionary concept of news customized for schools, is all set to debut in Nagpur.

 

The keynote speaker for the seminar was Dr Ved Prakash Mishra, pro-chancellor of Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences. He said that NIE for Nagpur is a step in the right direction. "I am grateful to TOI that they have taken the initiative to start NIE here. I noticed that mentoring is a keyword in NIE and that is what students need today. They need someone to mentor them so that students are able to 'raise the bar' for themselves - another keyword in NIE. Students need to be able to think out of the structured system that we have all created for them, and NIE is the perfect vehicle," said Dr Mishra.
