Best reason to buy gold

Buy gold now to safeguard your paper money from the Dodd-Frank legislation. Our highly overpaid elected IDIOTS in congress thought it would be great if anyone could buy a house. Their collective actions led to the housing bubble that burst. Their actions crashed the US economy and millions of people lost their jobs because of this. So what did congress do for all the people whose property values fell like a rock? They bailed out the banks with your tax dollars! Then the banks made it extremely difficult to loan us the money our tax dollars bailed them out with. A recent study confirms that Democrat polices crashed the economy.

Why buying gold makes sense

I just learned that buying Gold is a smart way to convert today’s dollars into something worth much more. If you are a senior citizen as I am, you remember that everything used to cost a lot less when you were just a kid growing up. I wrote in an earlier blog post about going to an old-fashioned drug store in the 1950s. You used to be able to buy a Coke for five cents. Just try and find one today for under a dollar! In the mid 1960s, you could buy hamburger meat for $0.29 a pound. Now consider yourself lucky if you can find it for less than $5.00 a pound. Never mind buying steaks, they are out of the price range if you are living on Social Security. A nice car used to cost $4,000 in the mid 60’s, now just try to find one for $40,000!

Quality of education was better in the 1950s than now

What is being taught is schools today has been corrupted by the influence of the U.S. government. Former President Jimmy Carter created the Department of education in 1979. This brought mandates to the states educational system. This also increased the costs of education. The government’s attempt to improve education by throwing money at it simply has not worked.Ringo Starr former Beatle drummer once said “Everything government touches turns to crap.” Need more proof, just look at the government’s rollout of Obamacare!

Where to find Gold

How to find Gold When I was a kid about 7 years old, my parents took a trip to Colorado. My dad was thinking about investing in Silver mine. My dad arranged a meeting with a miner in Cotopaxi, Colorado. Cotopaxi is a little small town along the Arkansas River on Colorado highway 50 west of Canon City. I still remember making a rock collection from the rocks that I picked up while visiting Colorado. We were given a tour of a working mine near Cotopaxi. I remember me, and my brother, and parents putting on hard hats with Carbide lamps attached. We lit the carbide lamps to provide us the light to see our way. The burning carbide has a unique smell. Modern day miners are using battery-powered lamps. I was very amazed when we walked down the mineshaft into the mine. We soon came into area where it opened up into an area with a huge open room with a very high ceiling. All this was blasted out as the mining progressed.

The decline of American small Farms

The U.S. Government caused the decline of the American small farms. I grew up on a small farm near McDonald, Kansas. Living on a farm was a great life. It created great work ethics. At harvest time, you reaped the fruits of your labors. We worked from sun up until sundown most every day. My grandparents rented the farm before my parents got married. My Grandfather died when I was only two years old.

Government Proxy Papas

One definition of ‘proxy’ could be government seeking to act as our deputy or substitute…our Proxy Papas. Most people would agree there is too much intrusion by Washington bureaucrats these days. They want to dictate our behavior.
