'Too big to fail' banks must be broken up - Fed official

'Too big to fail' banks must be broken up - Fed official | Hidden financial system | Scoop.it

US "megabanks" with large toxic assets accumulated during the crisis should be split into smaller units, according to a senior Fed official. Thus they won’t be able to use the “too big to fail” excuse to get another government bailout.

The Fed official identified 12 "megabanks" with above $250bn in assets that could be classified as “too big to fail”. Among the so-called “behemoth” institutions are JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup and Morgan Stanley.

‘Hidden’ groups to save humanity, or just PSYOP disinformation?

‘Hidden’ groups to save humanity, or just PSYOP disinformation? | Hidden financial system | Scoop.it

Therefore, I suggest three responses from the 99%:

As always, trust/have faith that Life is fair, loving, and moving forward, as artistically communicated in our 1-minute video, METAPHORmosis. Recognize the severe limitations of human perception, and stand for your deepest spiritual values (focus and practice, of course, helps).

Until we win to expose and end “emperor has no clothes” obvious crimes in war and money, it’s just another day at our activists’ offices.

PSYOPs are active and will generate disinformation; most commonly among the six corporate-media outlets. False hope thwarts activism by having people wait for someone else to act, and fosters discouragement when promised events never occur.

Coppola Comment: When governments become banks

Coppola Comment: When governments become banks | Hidden financial system | Scoop.it
The Bank of International Settlements has produced a paper discussing the global shortage of safe assets and suggesting a solution. It's a fascinating paper, not least because of the glimpse it affords into the looking-glass world of finance. I've noted before that to the financial world, the real economy is simply a source of resources to support financial trading and investment. If the BIS paper is anything to go by, so are governments.

Government and Big Banks Joined Forces to Violently Crush Peaceful Protests

Government and Big Banks Joined Forces to Violently Crush Peaceful Protests | Hidden financial system | Scoop.it

The definition of fascism used by Mussolini is the “merger of state and corporate power“.

Government and the big banks are in a malignant, symbiotic relationship. And our economy now exhibits a merger of state and bank power.

Prominent economist Robert Kuttner said in 2009:

"What we have is something perilously close to a dictatorship of the Fed and the Treasury, acting in the interests of Wall Street."

Fed members gave their own banks $4 trillion during bailout

Fed members gave their own banks $4 trillion during bailout | Hidden financial system | Scoop.it

"This report reveals the inherent conflicts of interest that exist at the Federal Reserve,” Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) says in a statement about the report. “At a time when small businesses could not get affordable loans to create jobs, the Fed was providing trillions in secret loans to some of the largest banks and corporations in America that were well represented on the boards of the Federal Reserve Banks,” adds Mr. Sanders. “These conflicts must end."

Film : The Money Masters

The powers of financial capitalism had a far-reaching plan, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole...Their secret is that they have annexed from governments, monarchies, and republics the power to create the world's money..." THE MONEY MASTERS is a 3 1/2 hour non-fiction, historical documentary that traces the origins of the political power structure that rules our nation and the world today. The modern political power structure has its roots in the hidden manipulation and accumulation of gold and other forms of money. The development of fractional reserve banking practices in the 17th century brought to a cunning sophistication the secret techniques initially used by goldsmiths fraudulently to accumulate wealth. With the formation of the privately-owned Bank of England in 1694, the yoke of economic slavery to a privately-owned "central" bank was first forced upon the backs of an entire nation, not removed but only made heavier with the passing of the three centuries to our day. Nation after nation, including America, has fallen prey to this cabal of international central bankers. Segments: The Problem; The Money Changers; Roman Empire; The Goldsmiths of Medieval England; Tally Sticks; The Bank of England; The Rise of the Rothschilds; The American Revolution; The Bank of North America; The Constitutional Convention; First Bank of the U.S.; Napoleon's Rise to Power; Death of the First Bank of the U.S. / War of 1812; Waterloo; Second Bank of the U.S.; Andrew Jackson; Fort Knox; World Central Bank

The reason I chose to begin doing convertible arbitrage also known as riskless arb.  as opposed to Merger Arbitrage, was because Merger Arbitrage could only be executed successfully  by having the INSIDE Information as to whether there was going to be board of director approval of the pending merger.

This is very different than the FLICKERING quotes that are provided by the High frequency Trading firms.

So why should we be worried about the Bilderberg Group? THE primary concern with the activities of the Bilderberg Group is not the fact that the global elite are meeting with heads of states and government officials (That’s never going to end), it’s the fact that they meet in secret, behind closed doors without any record of what was discussed and or agreed.

Revealed: The Federal Reserve Makes At Least $90 Billion Per Year in Profits

Revealed: The Federal Reserve Makes At Least $90 Billion Per Year in Profits | Hidden financial system | Scoop.it

While leaders in Washington stare down the fiscal cliff, let’s not forget the fiscal fact that brought us to the edge: The annual U.S. government deficit of more than a trillion dollars.  But through it all, one government-related entity has been hauling in record surpluses. New data capture the scope of profits at the U.S. Federal Reserve, estimated to be $90 billion this year.”

According to Sloan, the Federal Reserve owes its success to its practice of buying securities with newly printed money.

“If you go out an buy $2 or $3 trillion of securities that pay interest and you don’t have to pay any interest on the money used to buy the securities, you make a lot of money,” says Sloan.

Not only that, but a great deal of the national debt is actually “owed” to the Fed, due to their charging of interest on every dollar that they print and loan to the US government.

Because if and when they do, the entire world, which has now become one defacto AIG Financial Products subsidiary, and is spewing derivatives left and right, may have to scramble just a bit to procure some of this $599 trillion in actual collateral, once collateral chains start breaking, once "AAA-rated" counterparties (such as AIG had been days before its bailout) start falling, and once the question arises: just what is the true value of hard assets in a world in which the only value created by financial innovation is layering of derivatives upon derivatives, serving merely to prod banker bonuses to all time highs.

Bix Weir. The 2007 Road to Roota Theory

It was January 2007 when I first discovered the information released by the Federal Reserve Bank, Boston that changed my understanding of the gold & silver markets, the financial markets, the energy markets, the monetary system as well as the true essence of my country, the United States of America.

My understanding of the way the world worked was blown to bits and replaced with a more unified theory on all things monetary... all things that lead us down The Road to Roota otherwise known as the Road to the Gold Standard.
