Top Activities To do in San Diego, California

San Diego's coastal seat causes it to be an ideal destination for adventurers. Whether you are trekking along the sandstone cliffs of Torrey Pines State Reserve or walking through the frothy surf of Coronado Beach, you'll locate little reason to wander far from the natural wonders in the city. Spend a day at Balboa Park -- the city's definitive culturual hub -- and soak up the spectacular setting while exploring the countless museums, theatres and gardens that call this 1,200-acre park house. Though it's tempting to spend your whole holiday exploring, do not forget to carve out some time for a San Diego history lesson: America's Finest City proudly shows off its military and nautical tradition with two well-seen (and exceptionally interactive) museums.
While a day at the beach is nearly obligatory here, enjoyable things to do in San Diego also include going to with the world-renowned zoo, hiking Torrey Pines State Reserve, and meandering through sensory pleasing farmers markets in just about any area. San Diego amusement parks also abound, which range from the oceanfront rides at Belmont Park in Mission Beach to LEGOLAND in North County. Limitation in the Gaslamp District or a sunset cocktail off any day with dinner at La Jolla Shores. You will find that San Diego has activities up its sleeve for all kinds of visitors.

Safeguards for maintaining the integrity of chromosomes during cell growth and division can fail, and a cell may find itself trying to divide into two daughter cells with a loose chromosomal fragment drifting away from a broken chromosome. Researchers at UC Santa Cruz are studying a remarkable mechanism that carries broken chromosomes through the process of cell division so that they can be repaired and function normally in the daughter cells.
