Just the other I day I was speaking with a nurse that works at a hospital where I go to see patients. I was talking to her about my website and she asked me a question. She asked, “Do coffee beans really help you lose weight?” My response to her was that I didn’t know much about it, but I will get back to her with an answer.

As a clinician, our first responsibility to our patients is “do no harm”. I use the same moral and ethical code when talking about health and fitness recommendations I make to anyone, especially my readers. Practicing medicine requires staying educated on new medications in one’s specialty. The same applies for weight loss programs and products which are forever changing, hence it is not easy keeping abreast of all the fad diets, but it is so important to be well informed.
