It puzzles me why so few active women strength train. The benefits of weight training for fat loss far outweigh those of cardio. Many women think they will get bulky. This just isn't going to happen. Weight lifting only provides lean and toned muscles. Cardio doesn't change the shape of your body, weight lifting does!
