In its report "Nutrition and Cancer" of May 2011, the French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety (Anses) points to a number of avoidable nutritional risk factors as well as a number of factors allowing a reduction of the cancer risk.

Avoidable risk factors increasing the cancer risk :
alcoholic drinks: mouth, pharynx, larynx, oesophagus, colon, rectum cancers for men, breast cancer.

 

overweight and obesity: oesophagus, endometre, kidney, colon, rectum, pancreas, breast cancers for women after menopause.
red meat and pork meat: colorectal cancer.
salt and salted food: stomach cancer.
beta caroten supplements: lung cancer among smokers.
On the opposite, here is a list of factors which can help to reduce the cancer risk:
physical activity: colon cancer and the positive side effects, with reduced overweight
fruit and vegetable consumption: mouth, pharynx, larynx, oesophagus, stomach and lung cancers.
breast feeding: breast cancer

Based on such a list of factors, the French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety (Anses) advises three basic attitudes :
Reducing the consumption of alcoholic drinks
Promoting balanced and diversified nutrition
Promoting physical activity
Finally, a major point is that the French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety (Anses) doesn't recommend any particular type of food to prevent cancer (in spite of allegations stating that such or such type of food or supplement would be beneficial against cancer)

Boredom, fatigue, and stress all spur mind wandering, says study author Michael Kane, PhD, an associate professor of psychology at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

And although women were no more likely than men to lose focus, they reported general worrying and anxiety when their attention drifted. Fear not: Some mind wandering is simply your brain taking a healthy break, although sometimes it's best left for another occasion.
