It made me realize that everybody isn't open about their identities!

I really like how celebrities are taking their fame and putting it to good use by standing up for what they believe in!

It really puts our society into a perceptive, as most of us not all, do indeed judge each other over various things. Sadly discrimination is very much still there today over a person(s) race, gender and colour of their skin. Unfortunately those that are lesbian, gay, transgender...etc may always be picked on or discouraged because just as it is okay to be deemed unique and different humankind has a negative reaction to those and or subjects that are "completely"different and that we don't fully understand. That is the sad logic behind man and it is quite a tragic out look. Hopefully one day people can learn to accept those individuals that are different and welcome them with open arms and minds.

Is there a page for this sort of thing?

How would you use this as a societal strategy and how?

Carys Nolan's comment, May 18, 2015 5:11 AM
Promoting positive sexuality on social media could be used as a good social strategy as a lot of people don't have access to health care so social media is the next best thing. If they are constantly seeing ads and pop ups then it might get through to them that positive sexuality is actually important and it will enhance their well-being if they go by it. Pages can be made on social media sites like Facebook that are to do with educating people and giving them advice about things like STIs and how to prevent and treat them. This is also a good way to reach out to teenagers who are always using social media but may not be aware of the dangers of having a sexual relationship, so what better way to teach them about it than through what they already use all the time. They can connect to social media so by promoting positive sexuality on there they will be getting through to them easily.
