There is an greatly increased demand for trained librarians with knowledge about digital libraries, ebooks, creating physical and digital archives. Today's and tomorrow's librarians have to be part techie. Being a librarian does NOT mean you only work for a library. Any organization that needs to organize information and present it digitally is a prime career location for librarians with the right skills. Two of the three American Library Association (ALA) accredited master degree programs in California teach these skills. My alma mater, San Jose State University School of Library and Information Science <http://www.ala.org/cfapps/lisdir/listing.cfm?id=1408>, which has totally online programs, is in the forefront of teaching both technical skills needed and traditional librarian skills. The infographic was created for the very new University of Southern California's online Master of Manaagement in Library and Information Science http://librarysciencedegree.usc.edu/
