Koo Xin Yi's curator insight, February 3, 2013 2:04 AM

Due to natural diseases and some other factors, Haiti does not have a reliable water source. In order to suppress their thirst, they drank contaminated water which led to the outbreak of cholera. There is only water from a garden hose from a hole in the pavement. Despite being worried of cholera, they still drank the water as they do not have a choice. If they do not drink the water, they will die from thirst. I wonder what can be done to help them.

Hilal Iryandy's curator insight, January 25, 2014 4:10 AM

Haiti had destroyed many lives. The citizens of haiti is badly in need of water. Despite the need they get water from a contaminated hose which leads to a different end. The contaminated water causes them to have a disease named Cholera,  which is an urgent health problem. Despite the contamination, they still drink from that hose as they do not have a choice or to die of thirst.I wonder what can be done to help them.
