Hairstyles for men: Celeb spotting
It’s that time of the hair again, when an appointment with the hairdresser is due. But if you’re bored with what you’re wearing on your head right now or think it’s just not working, here’s your guide to rocking a celebrity hairstyle. Hairstyles for men is no rocket science, really. Understand your face and hair (if you don’t get it, go to a decent stylist to figure things out), shampoo your hair twice a week (no more, no less), condition your hair (it doesn’t make you any less of a man), and learn how to maintain the look (again, it doesn’t hurt to get tips from the hairdresser). Rinse and Repeat! Anyway, here are our top picks. -- http://blog.rockstarjeans.in

One watch you must own: The Professional Watch - Rockstar Jeans Blog - | Hairstyles for men: Celeb spotting | Scoop.it

A watch is the single most important accessory a man can own, being an essential style element and statement as well. So when one sees too many casual watches making their way into office/work/formal settings, it screams sloppy and we urge all of you who wear your multi-function sport watches with your suits and other dressier attire to pick up something slightly more sophisticated, something that is under-stated yet elegant and powerful.

That brings us to the classic everyday watch – the one you’ll wear to work with your formal clothing. The one that’ll get you attention when you’re signing clients or business deals and speak volumes about your personality even before you’ve opened your mouth. Here’s our take:

Style: Polished, professional and sensible.

What you’re going to wear it with: Your formal wear – comprising of the fitted shirts, tailored trousers, sharp two-piece suits, shiny, polished shoes and/or a pocket square.

Things to look for in the watch: One or more than one complication. That means the watch must do more than just telling the time. You can look for a date window or a chronograph. Keep in mind that this is the watch that will act as a huge impression – maker, so don’t compromise. Save up, if you will.

Watch Strap: It’s got to be the all time classic leather or a metal/stainless steel band. No rubber, plastic, nylon or canvas. Metal or stainless steel makes a watch look dressier while leather is the more discreet of the two. However, both convey the necessary amount of the ‘wow’ factor, leather being the more discreet one of the two.

Beware of: Being carried away by the appeal of a digital watch. Yeah, it’s understandable and everything but you know, it just doesn’t convey the same level of class an analog watch does. And in the corporate world, the client you’re sitting across from, hoping to do business with, will definitely not understand the sentiment behind the digital watch you’re wearing – with your suit.

We hope this post gets you started well on your way to becoming a ‘Watch’ Man! You can also read our previous post about picking a casual watch.

So long!
