Charles Lindbergh Flies the Atlantic, 1927
Joshua Hunter's insight:

Created in 2007 and was updated last month. It is a recent enough site to use safely. It includes information about the flight, the man who flew, and the affects it had on flying, itself. very balanced information with little to no opinion. provides both related pages and sources to look to. I cannot, however, find the authors name or credentials. The site is sponsored by the Spirit of Saint Louis project who are indeed a reputable sponsor. There are no advertisments on this page. Only facts apear on this, some bias but not enought o affect anything. And it they are not trying to sell anything.

19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution: Women\'s Right to Vote

Americas Historical Documents -- Women's Right to Vote
Joshua Hunter's insight:

This website provides good facts... but that's about it. I cannot determien the currency of the website, and that's a real problem. it gives good facts about the women's sufferge before during and after the passage of the 19th amendment. and it does a good job of providing sources. However I cannot find the name of the author nor can I see the sposors of the sites. It doesn't have any advertisments, can't complain about that. It states fact for most of the document. No bias until it ties up at the end. He/she is not trying to sell me something.

The League of Nations

The League of Nations | Great Gatsby Historical Events | Scoop.it
An overview of The League of Nations, an international organization that existed between 1920 and 1946 to promote peace. It was the precursor to the modern United Nations.
Joshua Hunter's insight:

fairly recent website, updated quite frequently. has very accurat and good, usefull, information. It provides many sources and extensions to his/her own page. Created by Kathrine Schulz Richard who has a bachelors degree in Geography.... Sponsored by sprint and some brain clearing clinic. I don't think that there is any reason for them to spnsor this, other than for the cheap ad space. There is no Bias that I can tell. They do not try to sell you things.

The Teapot Dome Scandel

Joshua Hunter's insight:

This site includes information on the Teapot scandal. It includes information on the events leading up to the scandal, the scandal itself and the consequences of the scandal. the content is balanced and provides many credible sources. It was written  by Zeck, James whose only credentials I could find where a bachelors in history. I couldn't find any sponsors nor the publishers. Overall, the document states facts without any opinion, no bias, and attempts at trying to sell you anything.

Prohibition: Unintended Consequences | PBS

Prohibition: Unintended Consequences | PBS | Great Gatsby Historical Events | Scoop.it
PROHIBITION is a three-part, five-and-a-half-hour documentary film series on PBS directed by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick that tells the story of the rise, rule, and fall of the Eighteenth Amendment to the U.S.
Joshua Hunter's insight:

Published in 2011 and updated daily. It's information is very current. It provided information about prohibition attempts before the prohibition era and information about why it failed. It has some bias but not enough for it to affect the entire document. They didn't provide any sources, but it's PBS and they themselves are a trustworthy source. Written by Micheal Lerner whose only qualifications is a degree in history. it was sponsored by The Bank of America, CPB, Park Foundations, and Florentine Films. They are all very big names but I don't see any reason as to why they would sponsor this. It states all the facts perfectly with little to no bias. Best of all, they are not trying to sell me anything!
