That is too long. You have to be aggressive about getting answers. Get a referral to a gastro doctor sooner rather than later.

The path to health really does lie in eating more fresh fruits and vegetables...and I particularly like this quote:


"For a number of fresh food categories, the gluten-free trend spells a veritable boon if fresh food producers play their cards right and are prepared to engage in targeted marketing and promotion. After all, gluten avoiders need to replace the wheat, rye and oat-based carbohydrate staples. On top of that, fresh foods are usually significantly cheaper than specialist packaged food products like gluten-free bread and pasta."

"Lupin is a yellow-colored bean that's very popular in Europe, Mediterranean countries, Australia and New Zealand," said Karen Blakeslee, Kansas State University extension specialist in food science and coordinator of the Rapid Response Center. "However, it is new to the United States and because of that, many consumers have never heard of it and may not realize that lupin has the same protein that causes allergic reactions to peanuts and soybeans."

Q: I have a friend who just gave birth to a baby boy last week. I'd like to bring her and her husband dinner this week. Trouble is, she is vegetarian, and he is gluten-free, so I'm a bit at a loss as to what I could make.

Wow, these are some tasty suggestions offered in response! BUT, I would add something else... nice and simple like simple fresh made spaghetti sauce over gf noodles. Or one of my wife's favorite dishes to deliver is enchiladas. 


Either way, deliver the meal in a tin pan so they can either wash it and reuse it later or they can just recycle it...
