Ukrainian Governor Casts Spell on Putin in Pagan-like Nationalist Rite (Video)

Ukrainian Governor Casts Spell on Putin in Pagan-like Nationalist Rite (Video) | Global politics | Scoop.it
There must be some evil spell spread in the air of the Kherson region in the south of Ukraine. First it was a mayor of a small town who compared the Russian President to a supreme creature who descended upon Ukraine from on high.
Enrique Ferro's insight:
The latest stunt of the Ukr Horror Freak Show.

Mr Juncker Goes to Saint Petersburg

Mr Juncker Goes to Saint Petersburg | Global politics | Scoop.it
European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker faces growing resistance from the U.S., some European countries — and even among his own staff — to a trip to Russia next month.Their fear, according to diplomatic sources, is that Juncker’s visit would strengthen Russian President Vladimir Putin’s position right before a crucial decision on renewing economic sanctions against Moscow.

Trump Keeps Ripping Russia-Hating Bill Kristol: "A Dummy, A Loser" (Video)

Trump Keeps Ripping Russia-Hating Bill Kristol: "A Dummy, A Loser" (Video) | Global politics | Scoop.it
Below are some more details and video of Trump destroying Kristol last week.  To the delight of his followers, Trump kept up the barrage on Twitter on Sunday: If dummy Bill Kristol actually does get a spoiler to run as an Independent, say good bye to the Supreme Court!
Enrique Ferro's insight:
If Kristol is planning to steal votes from Trump by running as an independent in order to help warmonger Hillary to win, his game might backfire, as those who would vote for Clinton as against Trump could actually vote for Kristol, and Clinton would lose votes!

While Installing NATO Missiles, Poland Crushes Dissent

While Installing NATO Missiles, Poland Crushes Dissent | Global politics | Scoop.it
The United States and its NATO allies have recently established ballistic missile defense systems in Poland and Romania. The United States claims that these systems are set up for the purpose of protecting Romania and Poland. However, Russian leaders interpret the systems as a threat to them because these “defense systems” are strike enabling. The new ballistic missile systems enable NATO forces in Poland and Romania to strike Russia with cruise missiles, and then deflect any response.
Enrique Ferro's insight:
To anyone trained in criminology or the history of espionage, it should be highly obvious that Piskorski has not engaged in any illegal activity. Piskorski is a well-known political activist. He leads a small political party and runs a Pan-Slavic publishing house. As a well-known public figure, Piskorski is the last person that any intelligence agency would cooperate with. Piskorski has been detained because he is an outspoken critic of NATO and the European Union, and is loudly voicing his opposition to Polish cooperation with hostility to Russia.

Are Anne Applebaum and Ed Lucas Phonies or Just Innocently Insane? | Global politics | Scoop.it
An ambitious ruse has been set up by well-known journalists Anne Applebaum and Ed Lucas. It purports to be a project to promote accuracy in the news. But when I took a closer look at it, I found it hard to believe that's its real goal.

One more Italian region joining demands to recognize Crimea, lift anti-Russian sanctions

One more Italian region joining demands to recognize Crimea, lift anti-Russian sanctions | Global politics | Scoop.it
ROME, May 25. /TASS/. One more region of Italy, Liguria, is asking the national government to recognize the status of Crimea as a constituent region of Russia and to lift the anti-Russian sanctions, which the West introduced in 2014 after the state coup in Kiev and Crimea's referendum on reunification with the Russian Federation.
Enrique Ferro's insight:
Resolutions adopted by regional councils do not have a specified legal force but they send highly important political signals, Lega Nord officials say. The party that stands in opposition to the incumbent national government earlier submitted a resolution for the lifting of sanctions to the national parliament but the ruling majority did not support it there. Western Journalists Hands Down Recognize Putin [SATIRE] - The Duran

Western Journalists Hands Down Recognize Putin [SATIRE] - The Duran | Global politics | Scoop.it
94% of journalists polled agreed that Putin is the subject western audiences cannot get enough of.
Enrique Ferro's insight:
In a rare admission one journalist with some knowledge of Russia responded, “When Obama leaves office he will be quickly forgotten – like he never happened, maybe his legacy will be transgender toilet reform in the country’s elementary schools, but Putin is another matter. Speaking as a journalist, I hope he stays around – that guy is story to be told.” He added, “I demonize Putin, yeah I do! It pays my bills! I have obligations, you know. We all have to make a living.”

Article: The New York Times's (and Clinton Campaign's) Abject Cowardice on Israel - Essentially the entire world recognizes the reality of Israeli occupation with the exception of a tiny sliver of extremists in Israel and the U.S. That's why Chris Christie had to grovel in apology to GOP billionaire and Israel-devoted fanatic Sheldon Adelson when the New Jersey Governor neutrally described having seen the 'occupied territories' during a trip he took to Israel.

Is There Hunger in Venezuela?

Is There Hunger in Venezuela? | Global politics | Scoop.it
Venezuela's opposition says the country is facing a humanitarian crisis due to lack of food. This view has been echoed in the international media; the picture painted is one of economic collapse, with shortages leading to widespread hunger and grave risks to the population's health. Its majority in parliament called on international bodies like the Food and Agriculture Organization and UNICEF to intervene.

So is it true? teleSUR's correspondent in Caracas, Iain Bruce, tries to get to the bottom of the question.

Read the previous part in this series: Venezuelan Women on the Sharp End of Shortages
Enrique Ferro's insight:
Sometimes the whole family turned up, each buying as many as they could carry. This has now turned into the elaborate industry of bachaqueo, where people buy basic products at very low, controlled prices, then resell them at very many times that price. Queuing has become their profession.

Two Years Since Kiev Regime Started Killing Its Own People in Donbass (Video) | Global politics | Scoop.it
It was two years ago that the first shells fell on the people of Donbass, fired by a neo-Nazi volunteer army which had come to kill "Russian aggressors." They came to crush the peaceful demonstrations of the people there against the violent overthrow of their democracy (as highly imperfect and corrupt as it was) and the trampling of the constitution of Ukraine.

New Aussie Film on Ukraine Civilian Bombings: a PR Disaster for The US / EU

New Aussie Film on Ukraine Civilian Bombings: a PR Disaster for The US / EU | Global politics | Scoop.it
One of the more extraordinary aspects of the Ukraine war has been the brutal war crimes committed against civilians, by and large exclusively by one side: Kiev.No less extraordinary has been the refusal of the western media to cover this story, thereby leaving most people in the West simply unaware of the extent of the horrors being perpetrated in their name, funded and cheered on by their leaders.  Most of the politicians are as misled as the general populace because they also get their facts from the media.
