Some companies have reported significant improvements in employee retention that they associate with peer recognition, friendly competition, and community building.

 

 Future gamification is expected to offer an alternative to existing time intensive and costly HR processes such as recruitment, selection, and development of talent. However since most businesses are fast followers rather than early adopters it is not expected that such games will be developed and available for several years.

You're all totally true. I really agree with you. I would add that "followers" are (normally, except for fake profiles...) persons. And persons MUST be respected.
