La « plateformisation » de la formation

La « plateformisation » de la formation | Future of corporate learning | Scoop.it
L’essor qu’ont connu les MOOC au cours de la décennie a révélé une forme nouvelle d’organisation de la production et de la valorisation des contenus éducatifs : la plateforme. Devant la multiplication des acteurs économiques présentant ce type de fonctionnement dans le champ de l’éducation et de la formation professionnelle, nous interrogeons, dans le cadre de cet article, un possible mouvement de « plateformisation » propre au domaine. Au travers de trois cas d’étude, nous avons ainsi cherché à identifier certains traits distinctifs, certaines propriétés caractérisant un tel mouvement. Deux aspects ont été privilégiés : le premier se rapporte aux stratégies mises en œuvre par les acteurs économiques pour attirer et fidéliser des membres autour des biens et services qu’ils proposent ; le second concerne les techniques de « mise en activité » de ces membres. Au final, l’article éclaire les transferts tant idéologiques qu’organisationnels qui s’opèrent dans le sens, semble-t-il unique, du monde informatique vers le monde éducatif.

-humanity challenges (climate change, growing inequalities, addictions,...) being understood by more and more people and leaders


 


Dystopia:


-learning made addictive through consumerization technologies


-accelerated learning process & technologies driving to always more stressful workplace and to shorter term strategies 


-growing uniformization of minds due to AI driven learning proposed by GAFAs and other CATs global platforms

State of the Industry report shows gains in learning expenditure and learning hours used.

In spite of over 10 year continuous investment in digital learning, the training expenditure per employee is raising and traditional F2F delivery is still representing over 50% of hours delivered ... While on-the-job learning (which is not accounted in the learning hours nor in the expenditure) is on the rise (+65% companies are intending to develop it)

Excellent !  I fully share @Hayley Khan view about the ongoing shift of lifelong learning ownership from employers to employees and to individuals.

Regarding a personal assistant able to deliver autonomously the right learning bite at the point of need, I think it will become mainstream a long time before 2030:
