Design Furniture out of Wooden Pallets | Euromaxx

A Berlin company is making waves with a new design concept, recycling the wooden pallets used in good transport and turning then into tables, chairs and sideboards - and selling them for as much as 600 Euros.

Inexpensive material, change of finish and design this could work.

I like the guys marketing pitch "These pallets tell a story, the been thousands of miles" Yep they sure have, in the backs of trucks

Belgian designer Carl de Smet has invented a smart foam technology that allows furniture to assemble itself with a little help of heat.

A Belgian engineer working on products for outer space , found a by product, full commercialization is 18 months away .

The product ships flat,  heat is applied for expansion to begin.
