This infographic plus post explores the effect of parental involvement in academic achievement and it will probably come as no surprise that students whom have parents that are more engaged in school do better.  The post states "The influence of parental involvement on a student’s academic success should not be underestimated. When you go to the post you will find a full version of the infographic that is easy to read.
