Kanye West’s Next Album is a ‘Mix of Soul Samples & Yeezus-esque Darkness’ - Radio.com

Kanye West’s Next Album is a ‘Mix of Soul Samples & Yeezus-esque Darkness’ - Radio.com | What's Next For Kanye West? | Scoop.it
Kanye West is getting married this weekend, but more importantly an unnamed source is revealing more details about Yeezy's next album, due to drop this year.
Victor A Rodriguez's insight:

In this article the author brings a little insight about the actual content of the album. Stating that a anonymous source from Billboard heard a couple of the songs. This "anonymous person" from Billboard might not even exist and the author probably made it all up, it is still an assumption that could be considered true. Kanye has gone through major changes over the past year, which most if not all could be considered positive. He finally got his deal with a major footwear company, got married to Kim Kardashian and had his first daughter. I don't find it hard to believe that Kanye might actually bring back some of his happy/catchy soulful flow.

Rubin: duo "looking at vocal ideas for things for the next album"
Victor A Rodriguez's insight:

This article briefly answers the question to my topic. This article states that Rick Rubin confirmed what everybody that follows the rap game had assumed, there is in fact a sequel to the "Yeezus" album and its coming out soon. As for the credibility of Pitchfork? I have no doubt about that. I've followed these articles for quite a while now and haven't been disappointed still.

Kanye West's Bonnaroo Return: Minimal 'Yeezus' & Maximum Media Hate During Inspiring Set

Kanye West's Bonnaroo Return: Minimal 'Yeezus' & Maximum Media Hate During Inspiring Set | What's Next For Kanye West? | Scoop.it
"Where the press at? Fuck the press!"
Victor A Rodriguez's insight:

This article is about Kanye's recent appearance in the well-known Bonnaroo music festival. This is one of the few performances made by Kanye after the closing of "Yeezus" with his tour ending. As expected Kanye pleased or disgusted the crowd with one of his rants (Depending of which side of the line you stand). The author also comments on how Kanye might be "transitioning out of his Yeezus phase". If there is something that Kanye knows how to do is please a crowd on a live performance.

Listen to Kanye West's New Song For adidas' "The Dream" Campaign | What's Next For Kanye West? | Scoop.it
Kanye West's newest song has been released as part of adidas' "The Dream" campaign for the World Cup.
Victor A Rodriguez's insight:

By the end of Fall of last year it was confirmed that Kanye had left Nike and signed a deal with adidas to release his own line of footwear. Little did we know the partnership went beyond just sneakers. As you can see in the ad it included the part of was is presumed to be part of Kanye's new upcoming album. Again, this is all an assumption made by us the fans and press since it hasn't been confirmed.
