New Pew Research Center data shows a significant difference in the use of social media in advanced economies.

The digital divide still active in Northern hemisphere countries in ways that you may not expect - nearly half of Greek respondents reported that they did not have a smartphone or access to the Internet, while 80% of Swedish respondents reported the opposite. Despite good Internet connectivity, less than 40% of German respondents reported using social media sites.
