Seet Chin Ming's insight:

Many can attest that the sound coming from an engine inside a Formula One car provides just as much excitement as watching the cars speed by the grandstand. People no longer watch Formula One just for the visual delight, aural pleasure ranks up there as one of the things of why to watch Formula One.

Seet Chin Ming's insight:

Formula One, widely known as the pinnacle of motor racing, flexes its muscles against other cars (a V12 supercar and a V12 road-legal car, no less). Formula One Drivers Will Swallow This 'Pill' Before The Malaysian Grand Prix

Formula One Drivers Will Swallow This 'Pill' Before The Malaysian Grand Prix | Formula One | Scoop.it
Over the years, Formula One has given us a host of innovations from advanced aerodynamics to high performance hybrid drivetrains.
However, its latest development might be its most interesting: a pill that can take your temperature.

Seet Chin Ming's insight:

In the world of motor racing, it is no longer to just focus on the car itself, even though that plays a huge part in determining whether a team is vying for podium finishes or merely just contend to be a back-runner. The driver is equally as important, if not more important, in ensuring a good result. This new development improves safety for the drivers in the race and adds to their ability to focus on the race itself, with the team now monitoring not only aspects of the car, but also the internal temperature of the driver.

Seet Chin Ming's insight:

As the principal owner of the Formula One franchise, Bernie Ecclestone's, shrewd business planning is on full display here, paying a substantially low amount of tax from their revenue. This mirrors what other huge companies are currently doing, as Starbucks, Google and Amazon, all paid relatively little tax as compared to their massive global earnings.

Seet Chin Ming's insight:

Typically, a few teams would band together to protest if a particular rival outfit is dominating too much. This resembles our everyday lives, where we feel compelled to speak up if we realize that our peers are competing with an unfair advantage against us.

Seet Chin Ming's insight:

An example of what technology and proper training (and lots of money spent on research and development) can yield for a racing outfit. In a race that can be won or lost in a matter of less than a second, every millisecond wasted is a millisecond gained by your rivals.
