The automotive industry in Australia has been hard hit in recent months with some major automakers announcing withdrawal from the country. Ford is going the opposite way and has announced that it is accelerating its product led transformation plan for Australia. Ford has a family of 11 global passenger SUVs and commercial vehicles by 2017 that will be available in Australia.
