Specific and realistic about suggestions. Can be used accross the school and FIS has good access to implement.

At the Primary School many teachers take their students out in the forest to explore nature. I think it is such a great environment to help enhance our students' learning. All grade levels should provide ample opportunities for students to be exposed to our local environment.

We discussed this article at length and here are the main points we'd like this committee to discuss or consider:
1. Does there need to be more balance at the upper levels between vocational and academic course offerings?
2. How are our alumni tracked? Do we consider the success of students who succeed in ways other than attending "ivy league" schools (challenging how society measures success?). Do we want to?
3. Do our students achieve "balance" if they pursue the IB program or is it too time consuming for students to pursue all of their various interests, friends, etc?
Anna's comment, February 21, 2012 1:30 PM
Do we continue to uphold the learner profile attributes and value all types of learners throughout all grade levels?
