This article will help me find other ways to get scholarships other than the career center and the counselors website.  The article explains different ways to find scholarships like from the place your parents work or even just looking up different scholarships on a search engine.  I will use this article during the scholarship seeking process to give me insight on different routes I can take to find, fill out, and win scholarships to pay for college.

this article was actually very helpful. it never actually occurred to me to ask my family if there workplace provides scholarships, or to look around the checkout counters at places that I shop to see if they offered scholarships. knowing these things will definitely aid in my search for more obscure, less well known scholarships which will increase my chances of winning.

This article was a unique look on how to find and attain scholarships, and gave me a couple more ideas on how to both find better scholarships, and make my scholarship application sound more appealing.  One of the tips I found most surprising was that scholarship opportunities can even be found when you’re shopping.  The next time I shop at Kohl’s, I’ll be sure to look at the flyers and coupons located on the check stands in order to check for scholarship opportunities, such as their $10,000 scholarship called The Kohl’s Cares Scholarship.  The article also mentioned how to use time more efficiently.  For example, I could be using the wasted time I spend watching TV when I eat breakfast in order to find new scholarships. I can also utilize college smartphone apps that look up scholarships for students.

Its good to stay ahead and on top of the college deadlines and when they are make sure that you remember when they are due it's not good to wait until the last minute to do college applications because  trust me it can be really be stressfull to do espicially when you have to check make sure you did everything right and so for, so its good to be on top of it even write it on your calendar when the deadline is due which can help you on keeping track of how many days you have towards completing the application on time and correctly.
