The researchers' conclusion from this study was that if a person has a high-fat and high-sugar diet they would not be able to suppress unwanted thoughts of food because the hippo-campus appears to be weakened by such a diet. Somehow the high-fat and high-sugar diets adversely affects the hippo-campus.

The syndrome known as "fight-or-flight" is what happens when our bodies are under a natural or a chemical-induced stress. The body raises the need for energy when it is under stress. This process will released sugar into our bodies by cortisol, the stress hormone, preparing our bodies to run or fight. This is where research is showing a connection between weight gain, belly fat and cortisol; and chronic stress raising the possibility even more.

A combination of high intensity type exercises (HIT) and high intensity resistance type exercises (HIRT) seems to have good results for fat loss for both men and women. High intensity type exercise (HIT) is walking or biking to near exhaustion for 30 seconds slowing down for 90 seconds, repeat 8 times.

We over eat because our bodies are not satisfied. Processed or fast foods are the worst type of meals you can eat because of the addicting additives or preservatives in these types of food. Studies are showing that these additives are not needed in the food. The question should be ask than "Why are these additives added to processed or fast foods?"

There are 5 components for fast weight loss naturally. First component is exercise, high intensity exercise. So what is  high intensity exercise? A brisk walk uphill is a good example, you want to work your body to near exhaustion. The worst type of exercise is moderate paced aerobic exercise, according to Rob Poulos, a fitness author.

There are five fat burning hormones - thyroxine, epinephrine, testosterone, human growth hormone (HGH), and adiponectin. thyroxine is produced in the thyroid gland, it regulates metabolism. Exercising increases  thyroxine at least by 30%. But to benefit for fast weight loss from thyroxine the exercise has to be intense. Causing thyroxine to stay elevated for several hours after exercising is finished.

Diet is the second component and probably the most important. An unhealthy diet is processed food or fast foods because of  the additives or preservatives which adversely affects the "fatburner" hormone adiponectin and your brain. Research studies are showing that the additives (preservatives) in our food interferes with the signals, that are being transmitted from our stomach to our brain, indicating when our stomach is full. Some of these additives are not, even, needed in the food. These studies are showing that these food additives change the brains' chemicals, addicting our brains to the additives in the food, consequently a compulsion to ravishing eating of unhealthy foods. Researchers are comparing this additive addiction to that of  cocaine addiction, making fast weight loss difficult.

A diet consisting of nuts, seeds, vegetables, fruits and foods high in protein, such as fish and eggs, will benefit your body greatly, while also drinking 64 ounces of water daily and eating fiber. The importance of drinking enough water can not be overstated.

Sleep is the third component. Getting 8 hours of sleep per night will have a tremendous impact for fast weight loss, and caffeine adversely affects our ability to receive a good night sleep. Besides not receiving enough sleep, the lack of sleep can cause us to gain weight. The lack of sleep influences two hormones, adiponectin and ghrelin. These two hormones inform our bodies when our hunger has been satisfied and they also stimulate our appetite.

Eating breakfast is the fourth component. Studies are displaying that eating breakfast aids in fast weight loss successfully. Eggs are a good source of protein, 7 grams. Somehow eating eggs uses more calories than eating a carbohydrate breakfast. Eating breakfast will, also prevent you from eating that horse for lunch.

Allowing yourself an indulgence is the fifth component. Allowing this piece of  indulgence will not permit your changed lifestyle to seem like a prison, have a piece of cake or a candy bar.

A question needs to be asked,though, if an additive is not needed in our food then why add  the additive? Unless only for the addiction quality.
