"It’s a win for wearables. New research suggests that global spending on wearable devices will surge from $9 billion in 2014 to reach $218 billion in 2019."According to a new report from Research and Markets entitled “Wearable Technology in Industry Verticals 2014 – 2019.”

It is evident that wearable technology has impacted the technology and fashion industry. Wearable technology has also created growth in other areas, for example, it has "expanded wireless capacity due to growing access to wireless (WiFi, WiMAX, and LTE)."

Many wearable technologies are now syncing up to cellular devices, and the demand for wireless internet is on the verge. With so many new features that have the possibility to take place, it is no wonder the growth will increase substantially by 2019.
