In Athens during the fourth century BC, the philosopher Plato wrote that once upon a time, when the Gods were young and the world was new; each of us had four arms, four legs, two faces and a body that could cartwheel at tremendous speeds. The Gods, fearful that these exuberant, athletic beings would soon challenge them for dominance of the earth decided to reduce the threat by cutting them all in half.

 

The humans objected but the Gods prevailed, and soon each person was sliced perfectly in half to create two identical forms. The resulting creature, the first modern humans, functioned perfectly. They could walk, they could talk, and they could laugh, skip and jump. But deep down inside, turmoil reigned. For each ‘being’ only felt like half a person and desperately wished to be whole again. Hence the phrase searching for your ‘Soulmate’

Know that people will ‘flatter’ you; (at home : socially : at work)         some will be genuine but others will be insincere. It is important to understand the difference between pessimism and constructive feedback.......in short.....remember not all flattery is good – some is false
