How many calories we burn during weight training is a common and tough question.  I like the approach Nicole and Jen Mueller take on this article:


Be conservative and know what the research is telling us.

Sleep is very important to your gains. Too little sleep will be felt in the gym. you muscles and mind needs to rest. Here are some helpful tips for those of you who are still charged at the end of the day. By-the-way, that pre workout supplement before your evening workout is probably not helping either.

Strength can be measured many ways.
