Individals attempt to blame "evil spirits" and other evil factors to justify their evil actions. They do this because they want to make themselves feel better about the wrong decisions they have made.Having the ability to blame other sources for their evil actions make it evident that they know what they did was wrong and they now are attempting to work on getting rid of some of the guilt they have or they want to try and avoid the consequences that they will have to face from their decisions.

As individuals we alone our responsible for our own actions and decisions. Whether our actions or decisions are good or evil the indivdual is the only one that is accountable for them. Bad stimulus contribute to our reactions and behaviors to certain situations but how you react to the stimulus is in your  control. Individuals are in total control of how they portray themselves, their actions and behaviors, and their feelings.

The Mind Control Myth

There are major diffrences between being brainwashed and influenced. Individuals are influenced to make bad decisions but, when they are influenced the are still aware of their wrong actions and behaviors. Brainwashing is defined in this article as being influenced by negative things but not being able to make your own decisions, leaving you unaccountable for your own actions. Many individuals attempt to claim they were brainwashed as an excuse for their evil actions. However this article states that idividuals can not be brainwashed and brainwashing simply does not exist. Individuals can only be influenced to make evil choices and commit evil actions. Therefore since no one is capable of being completley controlled and they are responsible for the evil actions and behaviors they take part in.

Ths article describes the acions of soliders fighting in Iraq. The article says that the  soldiers are praised for killing others for the sake of defending their country. Athough the soldiers are looked at as heroes the author claims the soldiers are really comitting evil actions and should not be thanked. The article mentions the fact that even though the soldiers are encouraged to perform evil acts by the armed forces and our goverment they are still responsible for them. The soldiers have the opputunity not to join the military therefore, they have control of whether or not they are willing to take part in those evil actions.
