The Tsum Valley is a sacred Himalayan pilgrimage valley situated in a trans-Himalayan region of Gorkha, Nepal. The Tsum Valley's acquaintance with Tibet, natural beauty and its pristine culture make this trekking unique. Tsum comes from the Tibetan work 'Tsombo', which means vivid. Against the majestic backdrop of the Ganesh Himal, Sringi Himal and Baudha Himal ranges, this serene Himalayan valley is rich in ancient art, culture, and religion. The local people are mostly of Tibetan origin and seak a unique dialect. Trails are strewn with artistic chortens and lined with mani walls made of thousands of stone slabs carved with deities and prayers. The Tsum valley has a long history of Buddhism. The Buddhist saint Milarepa is believed to have meditated in the caves of there mountains. Traditionally Tsum valley was a
culturally distinct geographical area called 'Tsum Tso Chuksum', which means thirteen provinces ruled as a single territory. The ancient remains of the Tsum Kingdom are still visibletoday. tourinfonepal's insight:

Annapurna is an enormous 55 km. long Himalayan massif which highest point Annapurna I, a stunning peak stands at 8,091m. making the 10th highest mountain in the world. It is located east of Kali Gandaki Gorge cut through the Himalaya by the Kali Gandaki River which separates from the Dhaulagiri Massif. Its glaciers on western and northwestern slopes drain into this gorge. It became the first 8000m. peak to be successfully clmbed in 1950 by Maurice Herzog and Luis Lachenal of a French expedition.

The third ascent in 1970 by Don Whillans and Dougal Haston members of a British expedition led by Chris Bonington is considered a very important ascent as they climbed the south face of Annapurna taking the very diffuclt route of climbing left pillar of south wall. Since then many new routes have been climbed: second ascent of summit 8051(little bit east from main summit) made in 1981 by Maciej Berbeka and Boguslaw Probulski via right south pillar, Reinhold Messner's route from the north-west side(1985) and Kukuczka and Hajzer's route on east ridge of east summit of Annapurna(8010) on October 1988. It is notable that the team comprised of all women climbed the peak in 1978. The Annapurnas are considered the world's most dangerous mountains to climb due to the peaks prone to avalanches and the high rate of fatality.

Ama Dablam Expedition, Amadablam Peak, Ama Dablam Peak Climbing, Nepal

Ama Dablam Expedition, Amadablam Peak, Ama Dablam Peak Climbing, Nepal | Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Trek | Scoop.it

Amadablam, one of the most beautiful mountains in the world, is popular for the most beautiful alpine rock climb of its kind and is considered one of the Himalayas most spectacular ascents. Although the height is only 6812m it requires steep ice, rock and snow climbing. The ascent on Amadablam not only offers the panoramic view of four of the world's highest peaks: Cho Oyu, Lhotse, Everest and Makalu but also justifies the highes level of climbing artisty. Normally, three camps are set in the approach above the base camp (4,570m), however, only two camps are used to spend the night. The normal route for climbing is South-West Ridge.

From the base camp we move up through old grassy moraine ridges passing through a saddle and then turning to north climbing up rocky ground and through boulders to the ridge where camp I is set up at an altitude of 19,070 feet. From camp I, we cross a rocky bowl and climb the ridge frequently alternating the sides along the fixed lines to the camp II. Climbing the ridge involves severe rock climbing which leads to the top of a yellow tower. The climbing route here from camp II changes significantly with the steep mixed gully's of rock, ice and snow. The route leads to the ramp and climbs to an amphitheatre and then passes through steep snow and ice runnel and finally, along the snow ridge to reach camp III at 20,750 feet . The summit from camp III requires steep climb on snow and ice to the right of a huge hanging glacier. The final pitches of the route are on the perfect 50 degree snow and ice face above Camp III.

Experience Required: The Amadablam expedition is one of the most technically difficult expeditions. The climbers need to have good skills on rock and ice climbing and technically competent. Tilicho Lake Trek - 25 Days

Tilicho Lake Trek is an important trekking part of Annapurna Trekking Region which lies in Manang District and the trekking trails pass through Jomsom to Pokhara. This trekking area is one of those places that have had next to mythic connotations. Many regard it as the highest lake in the world (5200m). It was for long almost totally closed save for a few climbers and expeditions, and since 1974, when Nixon changed the China policy, part of the area above Thini on the Jomosom side became a very off-limits military area. From the Manang side it was rarely if ever visited. The trekking path to Tilicho was “a figment of some ones fantasy” and the locals in Manang had little knowledge of the route too, and were often thought to be slightly unfriendly, as they were known for not being particularly keen on working as human beasts of burden for various expeditions that had passed. When asked to porter they had simply refused! Manang is no ordinary village. Its people are heavily involved in international trade, due to passport privileges granted in the past.

The route goes along the Marshangdi River and Gorge through the remote valley of Manang also known as the district behind the Mountains, to crest the arid, windswept northern flank of Annapurna at the Thorong-La. The route then passes through the Khanshar Village (The Last Village of Nepal). The trail goes through the must challenging pass “Moeso Kanta Pass” of Annapurna area to Jomson.

Lhotse Peak Expedition - Lhotse Peak East or Middle (8,414 m) is situated on the ridge between Main summit of Lhotse 8,516 m and summit Lhotse Shar 8,400 m.
tourinfonepal's insight:
Lhotse Peak Expedition - 55 days

Mount Lhotse is the fourth highest mountain in the world. It was first climbed by a Swiss expedition in 1956. The expedition also made the second ascent of Everest. The first ascent took a direct route up the Lhotse Face, famous as the route to the South Col. Later expeditions attempted the South Face, one of the steepest and longest mountain walls in the world.

The summit Lhotse East or Middle (8,414 m) is situated on the ridge between Main summit of Lhotse 8,516 m and summit Lhotse Shar 8,400 m. Any separate ascents up to this summit are practically excluded because of the steep walls and very crossed relief and it is possible to summit it only climbing up to Lhotse Main or Lhotse Shar before and then make a traverse of a very crossed ridge with a length about 1000 meters. The ascent up to Lhotse Main by itself or Lhotse Shar is the task of separate expedition and the additional traverse which requires several days of work on the height more then 8,300 m makes the Lhotse East unclimbed till nowadays. Actually almost all more or less interesting eightsousanders Faces and ridges in Himalayas were climbed. Last first ascent up to the summit higher then 8 000 m was in 1982.

Plans to be on the summit of Lhotse Middle already had several teams but all attempts were unsuccessful. In 1994 the team from Switzerland tried to make a traverse to Lhotse East but climbed the Lhotse Main summit on 9:10 a.m.had to refuse next climbing because of awful state of the route and wild froze. The Russian team (part of it is now participate in the autumn expedition) also tried to climb this last Himalayan citadel on spring 1997 but the very bad weather in Everest region did not allow to do it. On the descent from the Main Lhotse summit the strongest high altitude climber of Russia Vladimir Bashkirov was died.

In 1997 one try to summit east top by traverse from main Lhotse. The route of this year is the traverse via Lhotse Shar. The ascentis dedicated to memory of Vladimir Bashkirov.

Lhotse to the south of the worlds highest peak is a part of Everest massif. By virtue of it being 3km south of Mount Everest, from which the South Col separates it, it is considered as an independent mountain. It was first climbed by F. Luchsinger & E. Reiss in 1956. An impressive ring of three peaks makes up the Lhotse massif: Lhotse East or Middle, Lhotse east or middle, Lhotse & Lhotse Shar. The South Face of Lhotse is one of the largest mountain faces in the world.

THE ROUTE-  Following the same logistics and camps to Camp 3 as the Everest South Ridge climb, we attempt to climb via the normal route to the tallest peak of the Lhotse massif.

BASE CAMP-  You utilize the same camp and infrastructure starting at the base of the Khumbu Glacier as our Everest expedition uses.  Other camps are Camp 2 and Camp 3 and then you split off from there to a Lhotse Camp 4 then on to the summit.

Sony Travels operates and handle many types of tour, trekking and holidays inbound and outbound countries. In our views and opinions, all travelers have not available a holiday at same time and same date. This is always impossible. We feel oblige to understand all travelers wish when and which places they would like to visit, it depends on their interest and time availability. So on the basis of peoples wish, we decide to operate tour, trekking and holidays in different date and times with different places in fixed schedules and itineraries so that they could travel and manage their schedule as per their interest and leisure time availability. It can support our trip to collect a traveler in one platform from different countries and states.

So we make these special offers are applicable only to new bookings. Discounts are subject to availability, so contact us for more details.
