Again a customized workout routine or plan is best. A business is about making money so don't always go with what the gym manager say's and force your clients to do things that are not as good for them as other workouts. Again everyone is different so ethically for a trainer you would have to know that to be a good trainer.

Have some integrity as a trainer. Don't just put stuff out there that you haven't tried yourself. Just because your friends are promoting it that doesn't mean that you have to promote it. Marketing yourself is huge in the trainer world so do it the right way and have some ethics when doing it.

Explaining what trainers do wrong is a great way to weed out the trainers with no ethics. One of the biggest parts of being a trainer is to cater to your client. Give them what they need not what you need. Focus solely on that client and what works for them. This is all a part of being an ethical trainer and following the code of ethics.

Although, federal privacy laws such as HIPPA, does not apply to most personal trainers, they still have an obligation keep client's information a confidential. There are boundaries between the trainer and the client. Violation of such things may cause damages.
