When I worked as PTA, the way we pushed patients through as if they were parts at a car factory, frustrated many of the other PT/PTA's alike. The way the Doctor pushed patients through, became scrutinized by insurance companies, quickly leading to its closing.

Leadership training usually does not work. It seems that leadership coaching and mentoring is not that effective either.


We need to integrate learning into our work in order to deal with the increasing complexity of knowledge work.
