EIGHT young women from Dudley and Pensnett have been awarded a total of nearly £20,000 after their Black Country pampering party employer ceased trading.

Not sure why the EJ told them to go to County Court.  If the company is insolvent then they should be able to claim from the Redundancy Payments Service.  If the company is not insolvent then enforcement action through County Court / High Court Enforcement would be appropriate.
