We performed a Before-After Control-Impact analysis (BACI) to assess the efficiency of a bat overpass.

•An acoustic flight path reconstruction approach was used to quantify bat crossings.

•We detected a significant increase of bat crossings between the two periods at the treatment site.

•An overpass correctly placed could efficiently restore bat habitat connectivity.
