As you know if you follow me, I don't think much of Klout. But I don't yet know what to think of this new service, which promises to take a different approach to measuring social media influence.

#1: Part of the sales process: You could invite people who are already in your sales pipeline to hang out. Not to put a high-pressure sales speech on them. Just to further the relationship."

Why Only 3 Major Social Media Platforms Can Thrive at One Time

"The big three, in this order, are Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. For both individuals and many marketers using these three platforms represents the absolute limit to what they are willing to manage and use. Even three is too many for some. Admittedly, the big three as defined here are from a US point of view and social media consumers in other parts of the world have other preferred platforms."

I think this is probably true. However, in my blog post, Social Media on Less Than Two Hours a Day (http://bit.ly/p6Rjlj) I suggest using more than three sites to maintain your social media presence.

Facebook Employees Go Nuts As Zuckerberg Tells Them The IPO Is Coming

"The truth is that Facebook is going to go public, and relatively soon. Because it's surpassed the SEC's 500 shareholder limit, the company has to disclose its financials in April. That doesn't mean it has to IPO, but we understand the company plans to bite the bullet and go for it around then anyway."

I'll believe it when I see it . . .
