Summary-This book is about a five year old boy named enrique who loses his mother because she goes to america to make some money. Enrique gets desperate and doesn't want to live another day without his mother. He leaves his home in mexico and goes after his mom by tying to cross the border which is a very dangerous journey that many die from. He faces many obstacles throughout his journey such as the train of death and all of the drug cartel that he has to face.

Review- I really enjoyed reading this book because it shows how strong kids can be and how much love they have for there family and how they would don anything for someone that means the world to them. This book shows how far love can take you and how determined people can be. This book also has a lot of action so if you like a action book with emotions then this is the book for you.

Moral- I think the moral of this story is "determination can take you farther than you think". It shows it in this book by seeing a 5 year old boy cross a country to see his mother and would do anythink just to see her.

Immigration is the main topic in my book because in the book it shows the struggle to cross the border and the dangers of it. Mexican is the most common race that immigrates to the united states.

The only reason mexicans cross the border is to actually make a life in the United States that they never had in mexico. Mexico is not far from the united states which is why mexico has the vast majority of illegal immigrants.

This video relates to my book because it shows the dangers of crossing the border and how many people die trying to cross it. In the video it shows an American documenting how hard it is to cross the border and he himself actually attempts to cross it and if you watch the whole video you will see that he never does and the struggle of crossing the border.

This picture has to do with my book due to the fact that enrique is trying to cross the order to reach his mom in the United States. It also shows the conflicts and security takes it very serious and always have security all day but even with all that security people still cross the border.
