Working as part of the supply chain is something that can lead to many opportunities. Your first year working in the supply chain you will make a salary around $40,000 for the first year. After 5 years with certification you will make a salary of $60,000. There are programs offered for this career at Conestoga, Mohawk, Centennial, Algonquin, Fleming, Concordia, Laurier, Ottawa, and Concordia. It is usually a 3 year program that you will benefit from, since last year, 33 grads from Conestoga had a choice of jobs, which were 2 jobs offered to per graduate. Supply chains are so big that there are a million offices around the world that operate them. As you can see there are a lot of jobs in the supply chain. There is said to be over 80,000 positions that will need to be filled over the next 10 years. Every company in North America realizes on supply chains, so it is likely that you will end up working in part of the supply chain.

You may think that you’re first impressions on people are not that important, but
you are wrong. The first impression you make will be the characteristics that the person will always remember about you. If you are confident, they will remember that. Remember, the person who is interviewing you, will be a potential manager of yours. Be polite, confident, sell yourself to them and smile. They are your potential market. One thing that you could do is find a way to make them remember you. Also, look like you want to be there and also want the job. You must know what you are talking about and keep good eye contact. It is a smart idea to look up the company that you are trying to get a job at. That way it shows that you are interested in their company and what they do. Just always try and give a good impression.

     Almost anyone can become a police officer. It doesn’t matter what gender you are or how tall you are. There are curtain steps to becoming a police officer. First you have to take an applicant test, which are 90 questions in 90 minutes, a fitness test, interpersonal skills and hearing and vision test. The applicant test cost $300, but is important because you need it to hand in with your application and resume. After handing in your application there is a spelling test, which has 40 random words from a 566 word bank. 75% of people pass in 30 minutes. After you pass the spelling test, you will have 6 different interviews. These interviews will include the chief of police, and a
psychological assessment. Right after the interviews there will be a reference check with interviews. Once you get hired, you spend 13 weeks at the Ontario Police College in Aylmer, Ontario. Then you are a police officer.
