A refreshing and different way to look at employee engagement. The point that engagement is not binary is certainly a valid one. Interestingly, though, even these statistics indicate that around 30% of employees are not fully engaged. Perhaps this explains why figures on employee engagement have not changed over the past 10 years, despite all the attention and effort that is being focused on it. Either way, it points to the fact that we need to look at a new model for running our organisations.
