Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is based on the principles of nonviolence– the natural state of compassion when no violence is present in the heart. NVC begins by assuming that we are all compassionate by nature and ...
sam eatmon's insight:

I am speaking on the issue of nonviolent and understand your longing to live in a world of absence violence.  But I'm a realist and don't live in a world of nonviolence.  Now when you grasp this concept we can and will communicate honestly about conflicts which produce pain and suffering.  I will concede it is a grand idea to imagine  an environment of peace and compassion where all humans being sought the greater good and strive to make it happen ?   Please tell me when the last time you went to your car in a parking garage  after hours and felt no fear of being robbed or molested ?   Frankly, I think evil lurks within the heart of humans and not good.   Look inside your heart what did you see ? what did you think ? and if you're honest you'll agree some thoughts are rather unkind and evil huh ?

Well, I guess you get the point ! however there's a credible way to reduce violence we all commit but it isn't what you think ?

Beijing's Credibility Deficit
Wall Street Journal
This week's National People's Congress in Beijing is being studied for clues as to the Communist Party's reform intentions, although it's hard to see why.
sam eatmon's insight:

It is not a shallow desire but rather, a very deep seated perceived need to connect with other people regularly.   People long for unity within various spheres of human existence and to possess some means in which collectively, we live in harmony and peace that benefit each of us.    Question? what do you mean using the term reform, I understand by its traditional meaning that a change is about to take place in your heart or mind.   I guess I'm a bit skeptical until I am convinced that a government isn't capable of real change until it citizens are given freedom to express their objections in a public forum.   Curiously, I looked up the word Communism and found a list of individuals who gave this concept destructive and painful explanation and left indelible marks in our civilization.

Remember these  people, whose  is  Karl Marks, Joseph Stalin, and Lenin what a dreadful  contribution to any society they represented.    “I was young once, and now I’m old.   I have seen things, I have heard things, and I have read things.    I observe so many Faces some of them speak very little...   He spoke to me a few words but oh, how powerful they were."
